Original oil painting by Sarah Soward.
Oil on canvas.
30x40 inches, unframed.
The canvas is stretched on 1.5 inch stretcher bars.

There are many writings describing who and what Red Tara is and represents as she has many aspects and rich, long history. Red Tara as wisdom, magnetization, persuasion through speech, and compassionate power are the attributes I kept in mind while paintings. This Red Tara walks in the space between calm and aggression, fully able to step into either as she offers protection.

Red Tara is the second Tara-inspired rhinoceros painting I've completed. More are on the way.

Please keep fine art and prints out of direct sunlight and UV light.

The watermark in light grey is not present on the original painting. It is merely for copyright protection purposes.

Wildlife art is a language of love, hope, and determination.

I painted my first rhino in 1999. There is no stopping me.
