This is a heavily saturated mixed media painting of a shoebill stork. The motion of the background, made from a brush stroke through rain and the pooling and running of raindrops, makes the still shoebill stork look almost regal. "Almost" because it's flaming hot pink, red, and orange. It's a fashion statement in feathers.
