Where There is Light, Original oil painting
Couldn't load pickup availability
Original oil painting by Sarah Soward.
Oil on canvas.
30x24 inches.
This painting is part of the Rhinotopia painting series.
This painting has more layers to it than meet the eye. It started out as various attempts at a river valley, a farm valley, and a mountainside—each with a rhino hidden in the clouds on the upper right. The mountain and clouds were the most important parts of this painting. Over time, it became clear that the idea of the mountain—the height, mystery, and inaccessibility of it—were what the piece really needed to get across the idea of Oxala. This very high chroma, light-centric, painting is named for the song by VNV Nation.
Please keep fine art and prints out of direct sunlight and UV light.
