The visual of more of us walking around looking like medieval healers and/or animal hybrids is a healthy, fun thing.

This is a free pattern for my fabric half-mask version of a plague doctor mask.

This is the first pattern I've ever made for anyone else to use. So many people expressed interest in making their own once they saw mine that I made a pattern to share.

I'm a novice at sewing, and this still turned out really well. If I can do it, so can you!

The 2 pages with the pattern elements on them are slightly longer than US Letter Size. Legal Size (8.5x14") would work better to print these.

  • The checkout process requires an address, in part to make sure you're human, but nothing will be mailed to you.
  • Instead, you will get a digital download of the pattern in your email, and also available at check out, once check out has processed.
  • No tax or shipping will be charged as this pattern is a free item.

The actual mask I made is not for sale. The pattern is not for resale. It is free for you to download and use, and it is to remain free even after you download it. Share the link to this pattern! Make and wear ridiculous and fabulous things!

This was originally designed to be a decorative over-mask, so I used fancy fabric. It’s big enough on me that it hides a KN95 mask well. You can wear it by itself or with another mask underneath!

This is a download of the pattern so that you can make your own version.

When handling artwork, make sure your hands are clean and hold it from the sides, back, or a display mechanism if one is attached (like a frame or mat on paintings and prints, and a base on a sculpture).
Please keep artwork and prints out of direct sunlight.

Please do not get artwork wet.

Refrain from touching the surface of artwork. The oils from skin can discolor or damage artwork.
