Rhinos for Pele, Hephaestus, Signed Canvas Print
Couldn't load pickup availability
Signed Giclee Print on canvas by Sarah Soward.
10x30 inches.
This piece is a later part of the Rhinotopia painting series.
Rhinos for Pele, Hephaestus is one of two paintings in these dimensions dedicated to Pele. This one is dedicated to her through Hephaestus, the Greek god of the forge who is the fiery and less contained counterpart to the Roman god Vulcan. This painting doubles as a surrealist creation myth of rhinos being made from lava—in this case fountaining a'a lava.
