This is part of my Rhinotopia series. A rhino yearns toward a tree that was struck by lightning in Hueston Woods, Ohio. Yes, sometimes my Surrealism is subtle.

This painting is featured in my art book, Rhinotopia Beginnings.

The wooden frame brings out the warm fall tones of the landscape and has a gold-colored inner rim.

Wild at Art

Wildlife art is a language of love, hope, and determination.

I painted my first rhino in 1999. There is no stopping me.
