Locked features two kori bustard birds locked beak to beak in a territory dispute. They are having some very different reactions to their current situation.
I photographed this scene in Kenya after watching the two birds run from opposite sides of the vast savannah to lock beaks and whirl each other around like toddlers at a playground.
It was epic and informative. It definitely left a lasting impression.

Wildlife art is a language of love, hope, and determination.
I painted my first rhino in 1999. There is no stopping me.
