Lemon Grass, Zebra, Original Oil Painting

Lemon Grass
8x8 inches
Oil on canvas
The canvas is stretched on .75 inch stretcher bars.
It's no secret that I tend to use candy, fruits, and similar as inspiration for the color themes for my zebra paintings. Zebras are so full of life and zest! So, of course I think of sugary things!
Lemon Grass (not lemongrass) is an experiment in new green hues. I'm really happy with the end result.
The zebra is alert but also chill. Lemony yellow in a pleasant way, and grass green and deep green too.

Wild at Art
Wildlife art is a language of love, hope, and determination.
I painted my first rhino in 1999. There is no stopping me.
