The Auriga constellation technically the Charioteer. My interest lies in the animals pulling a somewhat modern version of a chariot. Since I want the focus on the draft horses, I made their bindings and the wagon invisible.
The second image shows where the stars of the constellation are in the painting. It is provided here for reference only.

The painting is framed in a black float frame. The frame is included.

I work primarily from my own photo reference and imagination. I photographed the horses at a western-themed event in Banning, California. For the stars, I had a little help. See below.
