Title: What Am I Made Of?
Series: Rain Paintings
This tiny fennec fox inspects abstract flowers of the same colors it is painted with. Is this desert fox also a desert flower?
My Rain Paintings are a series I started in 2025. I started out with a single massive piece of watercolor, took it out into a rainstorm, and proceeded to use watercolors, non-toxic fabric paints, and the like, to create these works. After two separate rainstorm sessions, I cut the dried paper down to 8x10 and 5x7 inch rectangles and continued to paint and draw on them with all manner of materials in my studio.
Please keep fine art and prints out of direct sunlight and UV light.
I work primarily from my own photo reference and imagination.
