This stoic rhinoceros is made of laser etched and laser cut gray woolen fabric with white and black fabric showing through the cutouts.
The outer mat is off white with a linen color effect. The inner mat is beige. The frame is black painted wood. 

This frame is ready to hang. It is also made to sit on a shelf or table.

These lasered rhinos are a Reduce/Reuse/Recycle project. As much as possible, previously owned materials are used to create these mixed media pieces.
 
Please keep fine art and prints out of direct sunlight and UV light.

The watermark is not present on the original artwork. It is for copyright protection purposes.

Original Art will be shipped from the art studio in California.

Limited Edtion Prints (while supplies last) will be shipped from the art studio in California.

Open Edition Prints are made-to-order prints. Most of these are printed in a trusted print house near you and shipped directly to you from there.
This is more ecologically friendly. It also keeps international shipping costs down for Open Edition Prints because they are not necessarily shipped from the U.S.

My Artwork on the Moon

Luna, my triple-rhino painting honoring Earth's moon, is going to reside in the Southern Polar Region of that very same moon. My art is not only international, but extra-terrestrial.

Luna is part of The Polaris Collection, payload GM1, going to the moon with the Astrobotic Griffin Mission 1. Enormous thanks to Samuel Peralta and NASA for making this possible.

Inspiration

I love the natural world! Through my artwork, I seek to honor it and encourage others to love, protect, and conserve it too.

A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of my artwork is donated to the International Rhino Foundation.

Image Reference

I work primarily from my own photographs of animals, wildlife, and nature. While I paint and create artowrk in my indoor art studio, I gather most of my inspiration outside. I combine any number of photographs along with and my (over-active?) imagination to create my artwork.
