Aqueous depicts a species of wild cat that lives near and hunts in water. The cat is called a fishing cat, for obvious reasons. This particular cat is becoming water.

It's okay, it's just Surrealism.

This surreal example of contemporary wildlife art was created as part of the Contralateral Eye mixed media painting series that Sarah Soward and Ashli (Sisk) Kingfisher collaborated on for an exhibition at Buuni in New York. Only a handful of the paintings remain unsold.

I painted my first rhino in 1999. There is no stopping me.
