Tiny Birds Painting Series

Tiny Birds is a series of gouache paintings on paper that juxtaposes birds and flowers. Most of the birds painted here are very large, cranes and eagles for example. They are painted to fit inside the blossoms of small flowers. Conversely, the flowers could be enormous, of course. But I prefer the idea of these massive feathered raptors shrunk down to the size rose petals.
