In “Teeth of Havoc,” Sarah Soward explores apocalypse-as-change, which comes in infinite flavors. These are poems of oneness and loss, and explorations of power dynamics and resoluteness. Change is a predominant theme.

Soward’s work bends to the message, no matter the depth or puddle-splashing bluntness of it.
