Rhinos of Tara Painting Series

The Rhinos of Tara series is inspired by the female Buddha/bohisattva.  

Tara has many manifestations or personifications that are denoted by color and vary by culture or branch. The aspects of Tara that inspire me relate to understanding compassion, emptiness, kindness, and other such inner qualities.
