Moon Rhinos Painting Series

Moon Rhinos grew out of my Stellae Errantes series of elephant paintings inspired by the astronomy and mythology of our solar system. Moon Rhinos is all about the moons of our solar system. I began this part of my rhinoceros painting journey through the cosmos with our moon, moved on to Mars, and then Jupiter.

Luna is now part of the LUNAR CODEX, a unique curated gallery. The painting was transferred onto nano-fiche and will be sent to the Southern Polar Region of the Moon as part of the Polaris Collection.
