Sheltering-in-Place: Day 69

Sheltering-in-Place: Day 69

A woman stands in hospital patient garb. One art is turning into a flowering tree or plant. The other arm is turning into a root structure that is embedding itself into the ground. The text on the image reads Everything went really well. Hope is growing.

I had my minor little pain relief procedure today. No biggie. I'm fine. :)

I got to sport a hospital gown that roughly matched the hairnet/cap, hospital mask in a sun-bright yellow, and sensible grey hospital socks. Everyone was careful and kind today.

I'm home. I'm fed. I'm in bed.

I started working on this drawing before I went in today because I wasn't sure what I'd be like afterward. I'm a little weird! Medication hits me hard. I'm calling it a day. I'll try to remember to give the details I can recall in a few days when I have more energy.

In the meantime, I'm relieved that finally happened and am hopeful it will help.
