Sheltering-in-Place, Day 6

Sheltering-in-Place, Day 6

Image is ofa woman in a polkadot outfit standing on the sun. The text reads, Look! I’m outside! Ugh. Again. My cute little car needed to be moved due to street cleaning. The city I live in is foregoing street cleaning parking tickets this week, but sanitation is important. We’re supposed to re-park if we’re able. So, I suited up (Hat!) and did what had to be done. It was bright out there.

Look!

Sunshine was definitely the highlight of today. Yeah, it peaked early.

We have a little balcony attached to our cute little second story home. Today made it clear that I need to spend more time out there. I think tomorrow may end up being a primarily website maintenance sort of day. I can do that outside, no problem.

Today, I tried to paint a bit on my sketches of wild cats doing house cat poses. I set my floor and hope chest work space up more ergonomically which means that I rearranged the whole thing. There's so little to it that it only took about five minutes.

And, yes, I painted in my polkadot dress. I used the polkadot shirt to muscle open a door on my way to re-park my car, so that went directly into the hamper when I got back inside.

Re-parking today involved the polkadot dress, polkadot shirt, and polkadot shoes. I also had a blue dot necklace for, ya know, flare. But, really, this whole thing came about today because of the hat. It's white with a black band and kind of makes me feel like I'm the Queen of Dots.

Polkadots make me irrationally happy. I make concerted efforts to not buy them when I see them. I don't ever want to get tired of them.
