Sheltering-in-Place: Day 38

a woman is looking intently at a book while she happily hurtles through space. The book is emitting light and sparkles. I let a book take me to space today.

The text on the image reads

I let a book take me to space today.

Then I took a break to draw.

It was warm enough this morning that I needed a sweater. I kind of hate sweaters, but they're useful, I guess. This one is a little funky looking, at least, and warm. Nothing is better than a hoodie, though. Okay, well, the skirt is pretty awesome. It's been in my life for almost 20 years. I got it at a cultural festival of some sort (I really wish I remembered which one) at a small park in Oakland. That was a really good day. The bracelet was an accidental find while wandering through an antique mall with family. The stones look like opals, but I didn't pay nearly enough for it for the stones to be real opals. Regardless, that was also a really good day.

I'm going to read some more now. Science fiction is fun. It's nice to get my mind out of the house, even if my feet can't go with it.
